An upbeat shuffle dedicated to some of our fine jazz judges that we’ve had in the past that come and hear us notably Don Gunderson and. This starts out with a saxophone melody with backgrounds in the brass. This is a blues with the bridge so what’s an a AABA form. The brass have the bridge part. Solo section for a few people to play with backgrounds. The two A’s of the ensemble are soft and the bridge is definitely blasting. Once the bridge is over the melody gets restated and then the band takes it out. I think all judges are going to enjoy this because we are playing all the dynamics like good little jazz band people!Since there a judges are listening we have plenty of dynamics written into the piece to make sure will get a good score. Maybe even win sweepstakes!
