Highest Note:

I thought of my good friend and trombone player Alex Iles who amongst other things play some mean plunger mute. This is a very up-tempo kind of Louis Prima feel featuring the Trombone. This start out the trombone playing and then the piano comes in for just a little bit and then the ensemble starts with a little catchy melody played in the bone. The next time through the trumpets play the melody. Then the trombone solo happens and other people can play as well. The first ensemble is really a counterpoint with the trumpet and bones. Even in the first course there’s plenty of ensemble with changing dynamics. This all leads in the last ensemble which ispretty exciting referencing the melody. This gets to the end and the Trombone gets to be featured again ending with a cadenza at the end. If you got a good raucous bone player this is your chart!
