The Boogity Blues
This rocker is a cool tenor duet. The rhythm section starts the groove. This melody starts with the tenor duet. The second chorus brings the bones in with kicks in the background. There is a tenor duet stop time with hits by the brass section. The trumpets play the melody and bones in counterpoint with some swinging saxes make the second chorus. The tenors take the stop time again and then finish into the solo section. This features both the tenors including the stop time. The ensemble starts with the stop time and the trumpets and bone have a cool counterpoint line into a full ensemble. This ends with a vamp section on plunger then the band kicks it out. This is a cool way to feature the 2 hot tenor players!
